
Dr. Mahnaz Pezeshpour is a psychiatrist who completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia. She is bilingual and an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
Since joining Kaiser Permanente in 2009, she has been practicing in the field of psychiatry for over 15 years. She currently serves as core faculty for the Kaiser Permanente Family Medicine Residency Program. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, she is actively involved in community outreach through Lestonnac Free Clinic and Wound Walk, providing care and support for uninsured and unhoused populations.
Dr. Pezeshpour’s approach to mental health emphasizes advocacy, increasing public awareness, reducing the stigma associated with psychiatric conditions, and enhancing the quality of life for her patients and their families.
