
Behzad is an accomplished educator with over 30 years of experience in teaching and research. He spent nine years as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Biological & Agricultural Engineering at the University of Idaho in Moscow, where he was responsible for teaching core engineering courses, conducting research, advising both undergraduate and graduate students, and presenting and publishing scholarly work. Since 2002, he has been a professor in the Computer Information Systems/Business Division at Cypress College. In this role, he teaches both foundational and advanced courses in Cybersecurity and Computer Networking, manages grant funding, and plays an active role in preparing students for the workforce through internships and other career-focused opportunities.
